Providing a Representative Image

Main content start

The final option available to you if you cannot film your video with our videographer is to provide us with a representative image to accompany your course description.  We will insert it in the spot usually occupied by the embedded video.

Please try if at all possible to choose an image that is not copyrighted – either one from a public domain site (like Wikimedia Commons or the Library of Congress) or one that you take yourself.  See our tips for finding public domain images.

In addition, when choosing images, please take file size into consideration. This is one case when you want to choose the largest file that you can.

How to submit: Please email the image file to pwrcourses@stanford.edu and alfano@stanford.edu
